Donald Ernest Mortenson
Donald Ernest Mortenson, for-
merly of Estevan, passed away
in Regina, Sask. on Thursday,
May 7, 2015 at the age of 88
years.
Donald is lovingly remem-
bered by his wife Frankie; his
children, Joanne (Lee) Harris of
Regina, Don Mortenson of Re-
gina, Ken Mortenson of Este-
van, and Kevin (Linde) Morten-
son of Estevan; five
grandchildren, Ryan and Cos-
min Harris of Regina, Samantha
Campbell of Regina, Brooklyn
and Don Mortenson of Estevan;
three siblings, Ward (Shirley)
Mortenson, of Govan, Ruth
(Walter) Leverton of California and Lorne (Velda) of Govan and
two sisters in law, Orvina Black and Theresa Black as well as
numerous nieces and nephews.
Donald was predeceased by his parents Lawrence and Freda
as well as Frankie’s siblings and many other members of the
Black clan.
The Funeral Service was held on Monday, May 11, 2015 at
1:30 p.m at St.Giles Anglican Church, Estevan with Rev. Mark
Osborne officiating. Interment followed at Souris Valley Memori-
al Gardens. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make a do-
nation in Donald’s memory to the Estevan Regional Nursing
Home, 1201- 2nd St, Estevan, SK, S4A 0M1.
The family would like to thank the loving care he received in
his last days from the staff at Haven House, Wintergreene Es-
tates, Regina.
