Photos: Tornado touchdown by RM of Enniskillen captured by storm chasers

Indiana-based storm chaser Connor Croff chased the Saskatchewan tornado Thursday.

RM of ENNISKILLEN — A tornado warning was issued Thursday afternoon as severe storms swept through Saskatchewan, with storm chasers reporting a twister on the ground near the RM of Enniskillen.

Among those documenting the extreme weather was Indiana-based storm chaser Connor Croff, who has more than 158,000 YouTube subscribers. Croft and his crew tracked supercells and tornadoes across the Canadian Prairies, capturing jaw-dropping footage of the destructive funnel.

In the video, massive hay bales can be seen tumbling across fields like toys, while steel grain bins are ripped from their foundations and hurled through the air. At one point, Croft and team navigate a gravel road with near-zero visibility, shouting warnings like, “Cow, cow on the road!” and spotting a downed power line in their path.

The most surreal moment comes when the chasers film the tornado itself – with a vibrant rainbow appearing beside the swirling vortex.

Authorities haven’t confirmed injuries or major structural damage yet.
