Weyburn police received a report on Sunday that a number of vehicles in the 400 block of Government Road may have had their tires slashed overnight.
• The Weyburn Police Service received a report of mischief done to a building on the Weyburn Fair Grounds on Wednesday. Someone had spray-painted various lettering and symbols on the building.
• City police were advised by one of the financial institutions that a counterfeit $100 bill had been received by them on Friday. The photo image was blurry and discoloured and the bill was peeling. The matter is still under investigation.

• The Weyburn police was advised on Thursday that there was what appeared to be a telephone scam involving Reader’s Digest going around. As always, the police urge residents to be absolutely certain they are conducting legitimate business before releasing any personal or financial information.
• City police responded to a report of mischief to a garage in the 10 block of Second Avenue SE where the windows appeared to have been shot out with a pellet gun on Thursday.
• The Weyburn Police Service responded to a report of a commercial break-and-enter in the 10 block of 16th Street NE on May 8, where a number of smaller tools and equipment was taken.
• City police received a report from a 37-year-old man that he had been assaulted by a 32-year-old man around noon on May 8. The matter is still under investigation and charges are pending. Alcohol was a contributing factor.
• Weyburn police responded to a suspected domestic dispute between two 41-year-olds around 8:25 p.m. on May 8. The matter was mediated without further need for police involvement.
• City police received a number of complaints regarding a vehicle being driven erratically on May 9. As a result of the investigation, a 17-year-old male was located and has been charged with driving without consideration for others using the road.
• Weyburn police received a report of a possible domestic disturbance in the 800 block of Fifth Street NE at about 1 p.m. on May 9. Upon attending, they found a 28-year-old male and a 23-year-old female having a heated disagreement. The matter was mediated at the scene.
• Members of the Weyburn police received a complaint regarding a 55-year-old male apparently passed out at about 4:15 p.m. on May 9. The male was located and arrested for being intoxicated in public as well as for a criminal charge of breaching a previous court order. He will be making a subsequent court appearance.
• A number of emergency services responded to a two-vehicle collision at King Street and First Avenue North at about 7:25 p.m. on May 9. Although the incident looked serious, there were no injuries.
• Weyburn police received a report regarding the actions of a 37-year-old man in collecting a debt against a 22-year-old man. It appears that the accused threw a bicycle at the victim’s vehicle causing damage to the vehicle. The 37-year-old has been charged with mischief.
• Weyburn police became aware of a 16-year-old male who was breaching a court-imposed curfew condition at about 3 a.m. on Friday. The 16-year-old male has been charged and will be making a court appearance in the future.
