An incident in which a pregnant moose was shot and killed in southeast Saskatchewan is currently under investigation.
According to information on the Sasktip Facebook page, on April 28, Estevan conservation officers investigated the incident, in which the moose was shot and left at SW 18-06-05 W2, approximately 12 kilometers northeast of Lampman.
The investigation indicated that the moose had likely been shot and wounded on or before April 25, and died from her injuries on April 26. Officers were able to collect some evidence at the scene, but your assistance is required to get more information.
