GEORGE GORDON FIRST NATION – Police are searching for a black truck after a person was struck and killed yesterday.
"Investigation has determined this truck was involved in a fatal hit and run this evening in the community of George Gordon First Nation," RCMP said in a media release. "Punnichy RCMP received a report around 5:50 p.m. and responded immediately. The truck had already departed and investigators are currently searching for it."
The vehicle in question is described as a black 2008 Dodge quad-cab with Saskatchewan license plate 274 MNW.
"If you see this truck, or know where it is, call 911 immediately," said RCMP. "Do not approach the vehicle or the occupants."
Updates are anticipated as police continue their investigation.
