The annual fiddle contest was held at McKenna Hall on Saturday.
The results are as follows: the novice 12 and under category was won by Sophie View of Saskatoon in first, Rebecca Duncan of Estevan in second, Jacob Pyra of Estevan in third and Rachel Duncan of Estevan in fourth. The junior 18 years and under category was won by Shoni King of Corning. The senior 65 years and over was won by Bill Brinda of Regina.
The open/championship category was won by Kai Gronberg of Regina in first, Raymond Knorr of Regina took second, and Emily Dubois of Langbank placed third.
In the twin fiddle category, Raymond Knorr and Kai Gronberg took first, and Shoni King and Emily Dubois placed second. In the novelty fiddling category, Ray Knorr and Kai Gronberg placed first.
The youngest contestant was Rachel Duncan, at age eight. The oldest contestant was Bill Brinda, age 78.
