Comp Grade 12 student Zoe Molder, at right, watches the marshmallow launched by her catapult, in the test class for Physics 30 on Thursday at the Weyburn Comp. The object was to design and build a catapult that can launch a marshmallow and hit a target, usually located some four to six metres away. The project includes showing calculations on the physics properties involved, including force and trajectory, and in the test, each student had to hit the target at least once.
