The Young Fellows Club of Weyburn are gearing up for their largest annual fundraising event, their online auction, which will open on Saturday, April 15.
There will be over 460 items available for bidding on, worth collectively over $56,000, and with another collection night set for this week, the hope is to get the number of items close to 500, said committee chair Richard Henning.
To view the items that are up for bid, or to register for bidding, go to 32auctions.com/yfauction and sign up with your email address, phone and name. No credit card will be required to place bids.
For those interested, all items are now online to be viewed, and as new items are donated for the auction, they will be added on right away, said Henning.
Bids will be accepted until 9 p.m. on Saturday, April 29, and those whose bids have won will be notified by email right away.
The pickup day of all items will be on Sunday, April 30, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the Young Fellows shack located in the fenced compound behind the Co-op food store on Second Street, where the club holds their annual Christmas tree lot.
The shack will also be open on April 29 for people to come down and view the items that are on the auction block, and the club will be selling hamburgers.
When picking up auction items to pay for them, the club will accept Visa, Mastercard, cheque or cash.
All proceeds raised by the Young Fellows stays in Weyburn, and goes to support local charities and organizations, particularly those that serve or benefit youth and families in Weyburn and area.
