REGINA — One youth has been charged in connection with the murder of another teen earlier in November, according to Regina Police.
Following an investigation into a Nov. 1 incident on 1200 block of Rae Street, where a 16-year-old girl was shot and killed outside a residence, police have now arrested an individual in connection to the homicide.
Under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, police cannot share the name of the accused suspect or the victim due to their ages.
A 15-year-old male was arrested by police on Nov. 12 and is facing charges of second degree murder and failure to comply.
The accused made his first appearance in Youth Provincial Court on these charges on Nov. 15.
