Quarantine is tough not only on kids, but it’s also hurting school staff. Teachers miss seeing and working with their students a lot, so the staff of Pleasantdale School came up with a safe way to see some of their students and also show them how much they mean to them.
Tuesday afternoon a colourful fleet of decorated staff’s vehicles went around the entire neighbourhood, ensuring that the parade hit every little street in the area. The students and their families were waiting at the curbside to see the staff, say hi and wave back. An Estevan Police Service car joined the parade to add a bit of volume and colours and to support the initiative.
Many teachers had their families with them also greeted students’ families along the route.
