A 3-D archery competition will be held this weekend by the Weyburn Wildlife Federation’s Archery Club.
The 3-D life-size animal targets will be set up in the old curling rink in Goodwater, where the archery club has an archery range established.
The competition will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27, and from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 28.
There will be 40 targets in the 3-D round, and 20 targets in the instinctive bow round.
There will be a competitive and non-competitive 3-D round, plus there will be a fun round, and a two-person best arrow round.
In the fun round, archers can shoot as many times as they want after they shoot their first round.
For the two-person best arrow round, it will be held each day with the winner getting 50 per cent of the entry fees.
Registration for adults, over 18 years of age, is $20 in the first round, and $15 for additional rounds.
For youth competitors, aged 10-17, the cost is $10 for the first round and $5 for other rounds. Competitors 10 and under can participate free of charge.
