The Estevan bantam Bears have won a tournament for the second time this season, as they took top spot at an event in Moose Jaw this weekend.

Estevan posted a perfect 6-0 record during the weekend, and their run was capped by a 6-4 victory over the Kindesley Klippers on Sunday.

Estevan led Kindersley 2-1 after the first period on goals by Garrett Wollner and Kersey Hollingshead, and 3-2 after two on a goal by Tyler Saigeon.

Kindersley scored early in the third to tie the game, but goals by Colton Pushie and Braxton Dukart gave the Bears their first two-goal lead of the game. Kindersley would pull within one, but Zack Gedak’s goal late in the third put the game away.

Tallan Howie was in goal for the tournament.

The Bears other tournament win came in December, when they won Estevan’s bantam house tournament.
