Both of Estevan’s lacrosse teams claimed a medal at provincials this weekend, with the bantam KPCL Voltz claiming B-side gold with an 11-3 win over the Saskatoon Forgotten Rebels and the peewee Harris Oilfield Construction Voltz claimed silver after losing 9-3 in overtime to the Saskatoon Quikstix in their B-side gold medal game.
Provincials were hosted at Affinity Place and the Power Dodge Ice Centre from Friday through Sunday.
There were no local teams involved in the midget side of the tournament, which had their games at the Bienfait Memorial Arena.
