Minor baseball in Bienfait grew a bit over the offseason.

While there were five last year, there are now a total of seven teams in three divisions, at least two per minor division, this season, in Bienfait Minor Ball. Three local sponsors have helped purchase jerseys for the teams.

They’ve now got a lot of equipment to store and they will be storing it at a seacan at the diamonds. The association will be selling tickets for a booze basket for those over the age of 19 at $5 a ticket, with the draw to be made July 1 at the Bienfait ball diamonds at 2 p.m.
