Bruins and Broncos are tied after two periods in Game 7

The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins and the Humboldt Broncos are tied at 2-2 after two periods in Game 7 of their Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League quarter-final series.

The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins and the Humboldt Broncos are tied at 2-2 after two periods in Game 7 of their Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League quarter-final series.

Estevan held a 2-0 lead after the first period, but Josh Patrician scored 86 seconds into the middle frame to cut the advantage in half. Thirty-one seconds later, Reagan Poncelet scored to tie the game.

Both teams had chances to score after that, but neither could convert. The Bruins had a power play late in the second.

Will Koop and Eddie Gallagher scored 19 seconds apart in the first period for the Bruins.

Grant Boldt is in goal for Estevan, while Rayce Ramsay is the goalie for Humboldt. The Broncos have outshot the Bruins 25-23 through two periods.

A sold-out crowd is watching the game at Affinity Place.
