The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins broke out of the Christmas break with a 5-1 win over the Weyburn Red Wings.
The Bruins got goals from Aigne McGeady-Bruce, Arthur Miller, Tanner Manz, Kaelan Holt and an empty net goal from Jayden Davis in the first game between the teams so far this season. Bo Didur made 22 saves in the game and there were four fights in the game.
With the win, the Bruins go up by four points on the Red Wings for first place in the Viterra Division. The Red Wings have two games in hand.
The Bruins and Wings play on New Year's Day at 3 p.m. at Affinity Place.
