The Power Dodge Estevan Bruins won their 34th and final SJHL regular season game and will now look to add to that total in the playoffs.

The Bruins (34-19-3-2) won 5-3 at a packed Affinity Place over the Melville Mllionaires (23-31-2-2) in a spirited battle.

Kaelan Holt led off the scoring shorthanded in the first minute, with Johnny Witzke adding a power play goal later in the first. Michael McChesney (with his 30th), Arthur Miller and Jayden Davis rounded out the scoring for the Bruins, who got 35 saves and an assist on the shoresheet from goaltender Bo Didur.

The Bruins, who won five of their last six regular season games, will rest for a few days before another physical battle with the Kindersley Klippers – the heaviest team in the SJHL – in their first round of the playoffs. The best-of-seven series is scheduled to start Friday at Affinity Place with Game 1, while the following game is for Saturday March 17. March 20-21, the series shifts to Kindersley, with Game 5 (if needed) will be March 23, Game 6 March 25 and Game 7, March 27.
