A couple of Carnduff hockey teams made it to Saskatchewan Hockey Association provincial finals this year.

The Carnduff Red Devils men’s team reached the Senior B final against the Wilkie Outlaws, but dropped the best-of-three final in two straight. Wilkie won Game 1 6-3 in Carnduff on March 23, and took Game 2 3-2 a week later.

Brandon Turner scored in the first period of Game 1 to give the Red Devils the lead. But Wilkie bounced back with three in the second and one early in the third for a 4-1 advantage. The two teams traded goals from there, with Kody Martin and Jake McMillen scoring for Carnduff.

The score sheet for Game 2 was not available.

Also, the Carnduff Red Devils midget team reached the midget C final against Hague. Carnduff was defeated 6-3 in Game 1, but responded to win Game 2 3-2. Hague won the two-game, total goal series 8-6.

Carnduff beat Wadena and Lafleche in provincial play to reach the final.
