Four great races took place at the Estevan Motor Speedway Saturday night just before a major storm was threatening to hit the area.
The Tougher Than Dirt Tour hit the speedway with sport modified care and hobby stocks as the fourth night in the five track tour. Minot, North Dakota’s Brock Beeter won the hobby stocks and then jumped into his sport mod for that race but he was pushed over the edge of the track in turn two and blew his engine. That race was won by Elsworth, Iowa’s Rocky Caudle.
Adam Goff had been leading the hobby stocks point race but he ended up on his roof going into turn one just after a caution. Beeter takes over the point lead there, while Caudle maintains his plead going into the final race of the tour Sunday in Minot.
The other races were swept by Estevan drivers, with Aaron Turnbull winning the modifieds and the stock car race going to Jeremy Swanson.
