Nice weather, a course that was in good shape and good spirits meant another successful year for the Coal Country Run.
The run started at 10 a.m. and went either 5km, 10km or the kids mini mile. About 165 runners registered for this year’s run, including a big uptick in the number of registrations for the kids’ run.
Together, they raised nearly $6,000 for the Fresh Air Fitness outdoor equipment at Woodlawn Regional Park.
