Crescent Point Bantam AA Wings secure play-off spot

The Crescent Point Bantam AA Wings have had a very busy second half of our season. Since Christmas the team has played 18 games with a record of 12-3-3. The Wings had two northern road trips with success coming back from Saskatoon with a 2-2-1.

The Crescent Point Bantam AA Wings have had a very busy second half of our season. Since Christmas the team has played 18 games with a record of 12-3-3.

The Wings had two northern road trips with success coming back from Saskatoon with a 2-2-1. Since January the Wings have had to face the top three teams, and did with spirit and came out with a win, a tie and a loss. The games have been close, except the game against the 1st place team, Sask Valley Vipers. The Wings held them to a 7 to 0 game. With the team's hard work they have secured a playoff spot. Third place in southern division, and tied for fifth place in the league.

Head Coach Troy Arndt said he was excited about the upcoming playoffs, especially coming off a great second half of the season.

Arndt added he is looking forward to hosting the Regina Pat Blues on Sat. Feb. 22 at CPP, puck drop is 1:45 p.m.

Congratulations to a few of the AA Wings as they head on to compete in both the Winter Games, and Sask. First tourney. From the Crescent Point Wings the boys are: Kyler Douglas, Ty Stadnick and Kade Egar ( Winter Games Team) and to the players and goaltenders that made their zone teams: Trysten DeRoose, Matthew Kesserling, Kane Altwasser, Ben Hilts, Wyatt Arndt, Brayden Duke, Josh Dubiel, and Dalton Dosch.
