The Crescent Point Bantam AA Wings have had a very busy second half of our season. Since Christmas the team has played 18 games with a record of 12-3-3.
The Wings had two northern road trips with success coming back from Saskatoon with a 2-2-1. Since January the Wings have had to face the top three teams, and did with spirit and came out with a win, a tie and a loss. The games have been close, except the game against the 1st place team, Sask Valley Vipers. The Wings held them to a 7 to 0 game. With the team's hard work they have secured a playoff spot. Third place in southern division, and tied for fifth place in the league.
Head Coach Troy Arndt said he was excited about the upcoming playoffs, especially coming off a great second half of the season.
Arndt added he is looking forward to hosting the Regina Pat Blues on Sat. Feb. 22 at CPP, puck drop is 1:45 p.m.
