Brent Gedak’s opponent in Thursday night’s draw made quick work of his Thursday afternoon opponent at Draw 4 of the SaskTel Tankard.
Ryan Deis defeated Aaron Shutra 12-2 in five ends to claim victory in the Thursday afternoon draws at Affinity Place. With the win, he’ll battle Estevan’s Brent Gedak rink at 7 p.m. Deis counted five in both the third and fifth ends in his victory.
In the other matches, Randy Bryden defeated Brayden Stewart 8-5 in nine ends, Carl deConinick Smith defeated Daniel Selke 9-3 in nine ends and Josh Heidt knocked off Jeff Hartung 7-2 in eight ends.
Tonight’s draw at 7 p.m. will see Gedak battle Deis, Brady Kendal against Steve Laycock, Scott Bitz against Colton Flasch and Adam Casey against Bryden.
