If there's a golfer who knows the TS&M Woodlawn Golf Club's ins and outs, it's club vice president Daryl Donovan.
Donovan won the annual Dave Price Memorial Horse Race this Sunday at the club, beating out 11 other elite local golfers to win the race, which has been dedicated to Dave Price. Price was a local golf enthusiast who was killed in an auto collision in 2015 at age 53. His family was present to watch the horse race as it went on.
Donovan was a steady force through the back nine, needing only one birdie on the back nine to win the event. The race is run in the middle of the Frametech Classic Tournament each year during the August long weekend.
