The Estevan Comprehensive School Elecs senior boys basketball team finished second at their annual home tournament on the weekend.
The Elecs opened the tournament with an 84-64 victory over their archrivals, the Weyburn Comprehensive School Eagles on Friday. Their second game was Saturday, an 81-69 victory over the Swift Current Colts.
In what proved to be the first place game, the Elecs dropped an 82-72 decision to the Notre Dame Hounds.
The tournament had four teams entered. Those teams played a round-robin, and the team with the best record was declared the winner.
Notre Dame finished with a 3-0 record.
