The Estevan novice Golden Knights hockey team swept the Midale Mustangs tournament this past weekend.
Estevan went 5-0 during the tournament. They opened with three convincing victories, defeating the Weyburn Red Wings 11-2, the Radville Nats 13-5 and the Milestone Flyers 8-1.
Their last two games were against the Weyburn Coyotes. They edged the Coyotes 5-4 in the closest game of the tournament, and in the A final, they defeated the Coyotes 9-5.
A total of 11 teams were entered.
