Flashback – August 27, 1969

The Estevan Ace Mud Mets made a strong bid for the Saskatchewan Baseball Association championship in August 1969 when they visited Saskatoon for a three game series with the Saskatoon T-Birds.

The Estevan Ace Mud Mets made a strong bid for the Saskatchewan Baseball Association championship in August 1969 when they visited Saskatoon for a three game series with the Saskatoon T-Birds.

The Mets lost the opener 3-2, won the second game 2-1 and then lost in the third and deciding game 12-6.

The Mets gathered for an informal team photo at their motel prior to leaving Cairns Field.
