The Weyburn Humane Society is hosting their first fundraising golf tournament on Friday June 23, at the Weyburn Golf Course.
This is a Texas scramble with teams of four players. Entry fee is $75 per player and this includes green fees for nine holes, golf cart, steak supper, silent auction, prizes, trophies, challenges and games throughout the front nine on the course.
They can provide a driver to get you and your vehicle safely home at the end of the evening if you choose to have a few cold ones during the tournament. They are challenging golfers to shoot a Hole-in-One on Hole No. 9, which would win them $10,000. Registration is at 1 p.m. and tee off is at 2 p.m.
There are opportunities to promote your name or business with hole sponsorship.  For more information, please contact CindyAnn Boehm at 306-861-0829 or Kristen Graff at 306-730-7270.
They are accepting cash, cheque or debit payment at the animal shelter with a completed entry form, or interested golfers can mail payment and form to PO Box 1062, Weyburn, SK, S4H 2L3.
