Brock Virtue's vitory over Jason Jacobson has caused a ripple effect in the plans of Brent Gedak's rink.
Virtue won 6-4 over Jacobson, with the winner to move on in the B side and the non-winner Jacobson playing Gedak tonight at 8 p.m.
Estevan's Gedek rink awaited the losing rink of the match between Jason Jacobson and Brock Virtue. The match went to the last rock of the tenth end.
Both the Gedak and Jacobson rinks still need to win in order to keep playing Saturday and Sunday.
In other matches in the late Friday afternoon draw, Ryan Deis defeated Daniel Selke 10-5 in nine ends to eliminate Selke and Carl deConninck Smith eliminated Josh Heidt with a 5-4 win.
