The Weyburn Southern Range Gold Wings are now accepting applications for head coach for the 2017-2018 hockey season.
Mike Rooney, who was the Gold Wings head coach during the 2016-2017, is unable to continue in the role of head coach due to career commitments.
Applications for the Gold Wings head coach position can be mailed to Box 171, Weyburn, S4H 2J9 or emailed to [email protected]. Applications will be accepted until March 15.
The Southern Range Gold Wings have two home games this weekend, which will be their last home games for the regular season. They host Swift Current twice, with the first game on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 7:30 p.m., and the second game on Sunday, Feb. 12 at 12:30 p.m.
Their last games of the regular season will be in Prince Albert, with the first on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 7 p.m., and the second on Sunday, Feb. 19 at 1 p.m.
