Gold Wings goalie, Jane Kish, makes a save to keep the Wings on top during their first game at the Esso Cup at Stoney Creek, Ontario. The Wings went head-to-head with the Sudbury, Ontario Lady Wolves on Sunday and won, 2-1, after a last minute goal by Jenica Whitrow. The Gold Wings will continue to play round robin games until Thursday, playing each team once. The finals begin on Friday and the Weyburn-based team hopes to be in line-up to play for the national championship cup.
