A swarm of local swimmers took part in a camp held last weekend at the RM of Estevan Aquatic Centre.
The camp, which also had members from clubs in Watrous, Melfort, Regina and Oxbow, was led by coach Jeff Toth from Regina’s Flatland Swimming Club.
The camp had both dry land and water training and focused on swim stroke technique and fun.
“After spending two full days with the Eels I have to say that you have a wonderful facility here and a great summer club! I am convinced that this young team will be doing some very exciting things this year. We had a great time in Estevan and will be very happy to do whatever we can to help this team and we’d love to come back in the future,” said Toth in a release.
The Eels will be heading to meets leading up to provincials later in July, which are being hosted by the club.
