The Weyburn Ladies Golf Club held their 17th Open Golf Tournament, sponsored by Pharmasave, at the Weyburn Golf Course on July 29, with 80 ladies attending.

In the long drive competition, Denise Hersikorn took first place in the 0-15 handicap; Helene Buckle in the 16-25 handicap and Patti Marise in the 26 & over handicap.
Closest to the pin with her second shot on Hole #3 was Edna Brewster and on Hole #11 was Denise Hersikorn. Closest to the pin on Hole #7 went to Danica Love and on Hole #16 went to Myrna Nelson. Longest putt made on Hole #17 went to Brenda Kosior and the drive closest to the line on Hole #10 went to Val Bailey.
