A young Estevan water polo star was a big part of Team Saskatchewan’s win at the 19U Canadian National finals recently.
Taeghen Hack, who also played for the 16U team at westerns, took part in the nationals with the team in a single elimination event in Montreal.
The gold medal game was a rematch between team Saskatchewan and the Pacific Storm, the teams that battled in the final at Westerns. Though the game was close through most of it, Team Saskatchewan won this battle also with a 13-7 final score.
During the season, Hack had played 15 games with Saskatchewan and scored six goals, including three power play goals.
