Karate student Denver Shindelka kicks hard and breaks the board in half, held in place by sensei Scott Bax, at a demonstration night by the Wado-Kai Karate Club on Apr. 7. The club holds their practice nights at the Haig School gym, and held a demo night for family and friends to show what techniques the students learn for karate, and for self-defence, as well as for breaking boards.
