A limited number of passes and packages are now available for the SIGA Dakota Dunes Open and Graham Slam.
This official Mackenzie Tour PGA Tour Canada event is hosted by the Graham and Ruby DeLaet Foundation and SportBox Entertainment Group
Passes and packages can be purchased at www.dakotadunesopen.com/passes-packages.
The Graham and Ruby DeLaet Foundation will use the overall event week as a platform to donate funds to the Children’s Hospital Foundation of Saskatchewan (CHFS).
The partnership will see the SIGA Dakota Dunes Open and Graham Slam work with the Children’s Hospital Foundation in order to purchase a much needed pediatric ambulance, to improve children’s health and wellness across the province.
“We are excited about the 2016 edition of the SIGA Dakota Dunes Open,” said Brad Parkins, tournament director. “With a commitment to give back to the community, and with the addition of Graham DeLaet and a few of his celebrity friends, the week is one that should be marked on everyone’s calendar.”
Opportunities to get involved in the event range from: SIGA Dakota Dunes Open Official Pro-Am teams; SIGA Dakota Dunes Open Branding Package; Graham Slam Experience (Group Package); and individual passes to Graham Slam, and the SIGA Dakota Dunes Open competition rounds.
Graham Slam will kick off the event week on Monday, June 20. The match will see Canadian former NHL All-Star Theo Fleury and two other celebrities play alongside PGA TOUR golf star Graham DeLaet in an exclusive “no ropes” exhibition golf match, cocktail reception, and live concert.
This intimate experience, held at the Dakota Dunes Golf Links and the Dakota Dunes Casino, will be limited to only a few hundred people, giving attendees a rare opportunity to interact with the four celebrities throughout the entire day.
Following Graham Slam, the Mackenzie Tour’s SIGA Dakota Dunes Open Official Pro-Am will take place on Monday, June 20 and Tuesday, June 21, where teams will play with a professional golfer on the Mackenzie Tour throughout the 18-hole outing. Participants will also receive an invitation to the exclusive Pro-Am Reception held at the Hilton Garden Inn in downtown Saskatoon, where they will be able to socialize and network with other Pro-Am participants.
Pro-Am teams will have the chance to play with a future PGA TOUR phenomenon. Mackenzie Tour alumni include Nick Taylor (2013 alumnus), who was Canada’s first winner on the PGA TOUR in 2014 since Stephen Ames in 2009; and Tony Finau (2013 alumnus), who was a finalist for PGA TOUR Rookie of the Year last season and recently won the PGA TOUR’s 2016 Puerto Rico Open.
Tournament action will then commence with the first round of competitive play on Thursday, June 23, showcasing 156 international golfers, and will conclude on Sunday, June 26 with the 2016 champion being crowned. Mackenzie Tour players will look to make the next step on the path to the PGA TOUR by leveraging their performance during the SIGA Dakota Dunes Open to reach the next level.
