The Estevan Mermaids synchronized swim club had a couple of purposes for their annual pre-Halloween Spooky Swim on Wednesday night at the RM of Estevan Aquatic Centre.
The first was that it was a fundraiser for the Estevan Salvation Army’s food bank. The 27 members of the main Mermaids team, the 20 mini-Mermaids and the five masters members brought non-perishable food items to support the food bank.
The other purpose was the swim itself. Team members enjoyed some games and other activities throughout the evening.
