PeeWee Tier 1 Young Fellows bring home the gold

The PeeWee 1 Young Fellows travelled to Manitoba February 13-15 for the Brandon Tournament of Champions. The first game against the Winnipeg Railcats was a 6-6 tie. They swept Melfort in the next game with a score of 7-0.

The PeeWee 1 Young Fellows travelled to Manitoba February 13-15 for the Brandon Tournament of Champions. The first game against the Winnipeg Railcats was a 6-6 tie. They swept Melfort in the next game with a score of 7-0. The Young Fellows then crossed over to play the A semi-final against Tisdale, who is currently the top team in Northern Saskatchewan. They secured their spot in the A side final with a 4-2 finish over Tisdale. The boys played Warman in the  gold medal game and finished the weekend with a 6-2 win and brought home the gold medal.

Members of the team include: Blake Anderson, Kyle Bochek, Sam Chittenden, Tyler Domes, Matthew Dutchak, Drew Englot, Rylan Erb, Ethan Ernst, Matthew Hutt, Steven Kesslering, Jordan Muhr, Nolan Pankratz, Jonah Regier, Zac Robins, Luke Schaeffer, Riley Skarbon and Gage Tyhy. Head coach Mike Tyhy, assistant coaches Torrey Lindsay and Marlin Robins.
