Briercrest had a trio of Briercrest women’s volleyball players, Karina Peterson, Ashley Zacharias and Samantha Zacharias, who were recognized as ACAC south division All-Conference players at the ACAC women’s volleyball championship banquet at Lakeland College.
Second-year middle Karina Peterson of Weyburn led Briercrest with 35 blocks (ninth in the ACAC), is ranked second on the team with 136 kills (15th in the ACAC), had 221.5 points (10th in the ACAC), and was third with 49 service aces (fourth in the ACAC), seven assists and 52 digs. Peterson is studying in the BA Business Administration program.
