Ahead of their away game against the Humboldt Broncos tonight, The Richardson Pioneer Weyburn Red Wings announced that they have acquired Connor Stephenson from the Nanaimo Buccaneers of the Vancouver Island Junior Hockey League in exchange for a Player Development Fee. 

Stephenson is a '01 born forward from Cochrane Alberta and this is he first season playing Junior A hockey. During his time with the Buccanneers he put up four goals and six assists in 21 games played. 

After their game tonight against the Broncos, the Red Wings travel to Kindersley for their game against the Klippers Friday night. To end the weekend off they're in Battleford Saturday night to face the top team in the league, the North Stars.
