Registration is still open for the Legacy Golf Tournament, which will be held at the Weyburn Golf Course on Saturday, July 8.
“The proceeds of the Legacy Golf Tournament go to the repair and maintenance at the Weyburn Golf Course, so that everyone else can have a place to play and to host their own fundraisers,” said Elmer Frank, organizer of the tournament.
“We can still handle another six entries for this tournament,” said Frank. “It would be nice to have a few more teams, but the tournament is shaping up to be a good event.”
Registration for the Legacy Golf Tournament will be held at 11 a.m., with a tee-off at noon. “We have valuable door prizes that players will have a chance to win,” said Frank. Those door prizes include a John Deere weed thinner, a barbecue, and a wine kit from Big Jim’s Brew Shop.
Included in the registration fees for the Legacy golf tournament is a prime rib supper, catered by the Prairie Sky Co-op. There will also be a number of sports memorabilia offered through silent and live auctions. For more information on the Legacy Golf Tournament, or to register a team, interested golfers can contact Elmer Frank or call the proshop at 306-842-5881.
