Megan won first place in the 11-14 barrel-racing event with a time of 17.16 seconds. Children from 14 down to under six were on hand to compete in a wide variety of events to gain experience, earn points and work towards the "all-round cowgirl or cowboy" buckle, with four monthly rodeos in total to be held for youngsters around the southeast.
