Pitcher Justin Chuckry tries to protect home plate from a Regina runner, but the throw arrives too late and Regina claims a run in the first inning during a game between the Weyburn PAR Athletics and the Regina Red Sox on Saturday. The PAR Athletics opened their regular season with a doubleheader at Tom Laing Park, and then were back on the diamond on Sunday evening. They play in the junior division of the Qu'Appelle Valley Baseball League.
