The Saskota Baseball League is back for another season as action took place on several diamonds in the southeast.
The Estevan Tower Wolves got their title defence off on a good start by beating the Redvers As 7-2 at Redvers.
The Arcola Threshers got their season off on a big winning note with a 20-4 threshing of the Southeast Fireballs. At Kenosee, the visiting Oxbow Chiefs defeated the Kenosee Cubs 22-2 and Windthorst went on the road to beat the Kipling Royals 14-1.
No score was reported from the Carlyle Cardinals game at the Carnduff Astros.
The league concludes its busy week with a total of four games Thursday and Friday.
There are five games on the schedule Tuesday, with Kipling at Arcola, Redver at Carnduff, Kenosee at the Southeast Fireballs, Carlyle at Windthorst and the Tower Wolves at Oxbow.
