Friday’s playoff matches at the 2018 SaskTel Tankard were set after Saturday afternoon’s draws between C event finalists.
Colton Flasch will play Brock Virtue in the 1-2 Page Playoff battle, with the winner getting a bye into Sunday’s 2:30 p.m. final, and Steve Laycock will take on Scott Bitz. The winner of the Laycock-Bitz battle will confront the losing team of the Page Playoff game in Sunday morning’s semifinal.
Laycock defeated Ryan Deis 8-1 after six ends in the afternoon draw, while Bitz stole the last two points to beat Brady Kendel 7-5 in their close match.
