The Weyburn Silver Seals Swim Club will be hosting the Summer Speed Swimming Provincials on Saturday, July 26 and Sunday July 27 at the Weyburn Leisure Centre.
There will be more than 150 swimmers from 16 Saskatchewan communities competing in 64 events over the two days.
The Silver Seals club will be sending 39 swimmers to the semi-finals in being held in Assiniboia this weekend. To qualify for provincials, swimmers need to place in the top six of their event.
The Silver Seals invite the public to come out for a couple days of competitive swimming, raffles, draws and food courtesy of Myrna McFadden.
Admission is free. The events run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. both days.
