The Estevan Power Dodge Bantam Voltz/Weyburn Threshers won the bronze medal at the provincial lacrosse tournament in Saskatoon.
The team defeated the Saskatoon Beavers 9-8 in the bronze medal game.
It's believed to be the first time a local team has won a medal at the provincial tournament.
The bantams went 3-2 at provincials.
Also at provincial were the Regens Metals Peewee Voltz and the MNP Midget Voltz. Weyburn players were also on the midget team.
