Three Estevan peewee teams in semfinals Sunday

Estevan’s peewee A tournament this year is going to be chock full of local teams in the semifinal and final Sunday. Three of the four teams in the semifinals are from Estevan, including the Tarpon Storm, Tower Wolves and McGillicky Thunder.

Estevan’s peewee A tournament this year is going to be chock full of local teams in the semifinal and final Sunday.

Three of the four teams in the semifinals are from Estevan, including the Tarpon Storm, Tower Wolves and McGillicky Thunder. The three teams are a combined 9-0 after the first two days of the tournament, which has been taking place at Estevan’s two rinks plus Bienfait.

The Thunder will play the Yorkton Terriers at 10:30 a.m. at the Power Dodge Ice Centre while the Storm will battle the Wolves at 10:30 a.m. at Affinity Place.

The final will be at Affinity Place at 2:15 p.m.
