The Weyburn & District Hospital Foundation (WDHF) is proud to announce its securing of a title sponsor for the second Graham DeLaet Charity Golf Tournament.
"We are very proud to welcome Grimes Sales and Service Co. Ltd. as the title sponsor of our golf tournament," announced Golf Tournament Chairperson Michael Hoffman. "Grimes has a history of corporate giving, including being a major sponsor of our tournament last year and this level of support clearly establishes Grimes Sales and Service as another of our great corporate citizens."
So far, the WDHF has secured 25 sponsors, but they are still seeking additional sponsors as more donations of items for both the live and silent auctions. A number of fantastic items are lined up for the auction, which will take place at the supper following the tournament. Grimes Sales and Service will be contributing a pumping unit worth over $69,000 towards the live auction.
"The Grimes Sales and Service Co. Ltd. presents the Graham DeLaet Charity Golf Tournament" will take place on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at the Weyburn Golf Club.
The WDHF is a registered charity operated by a volunteer Board of Directors. Its vision is to build a new hospital to serve the people of Weyburn and the surrounding district. To that end, the Foundation strives to raise awareness about the appeal of building a new hospital in Weyburn and to raise the necessary money to construct and equip a new hospital. To date, the WDHF has identified sources of funding for approximately $9.8 million towards its goal.
