With only one game on the weekend, the Estevan TS&M Bruins weren’t able to pile up the momentum going into this weekend’s busy action.

The Bruins (9-15-2) lost 2-1 to the Regina Aces (12-11-4), and have only two weeks left in the Saskatchewan Bantam AA Hockey League regular season – four games of which are on the road.

Colby Cuddington opened up the scoring for the Bruins 4:52 into the first period Saturday. But the Aces scored twice in the third period to earn the win. Jackson Miller stopped 40 shots for the Bruins in the game.

Their schedule this weekend includes games in Regina Saturday against the Pat Blues (5-17-3) and Sunday against the Melville Millionaires (9-15-1). They then play three games the following weekend to close out the regular season.
