On Saturday, September 20, the Weyburn Golf Club held its annual Club Championship.
Results were: Junior Division: first - Jaxon Chartrand - 101; second - Nolan Ling - 106 and third - Jacob Butz - 108.
Ladies Division - Gross: first - Terry Creurer - 92; second - Peggy Henderson - 94, third - Penny Tochor - 97. Net: first - Linda Poole - 77; second - Blanche McRae - 78; third - Les Walliser - 80.
Senior Men's Division - Gross: first - Jack Jones - 82; second - Don Sanders - 86; third - Gary Plonka - 90. Net: first - Lorne Garland - 76; second - Kelly Hilkewich - 77; third - Mickey Woodard - 78.
Men's Division - Gross: first - Carter Hilkewich - 79; second - Matt Procyshen - 80; third - Kane Altwasser - 80. Net: first - Kevin Butz - 72; second - Marshall Bakken - 78; third - Marc Henderson - 79.
On Saturday, October 4, the club will be hosting the annual "Rocked by Lach" Golf Tournament. This is the last event of the season. There will be a shotgun start at 1:00 p.m. There is a $30.00 entry fee, which includes supper and prizes. Call the Pro-Shop to register at 306-842-5881.
The Weyburn Golf Club will be closed for the season after October 15.
